An affiliate marketer would only need to sign up as an affiliate which is normally free and start promoting their affiliate link so that potential buyers would find and click their link. If they end up buying, then the affiliate would make a commission from that sale.

The affiliate marketer would not need to worry about delivery of the product or any customer service as the product vendor would be responsible for it.

Another type of affiliate marketing don't even require people to buy anything. Just send the prospect to the vendor site and if they give their email or fill out a form, the affiliate would then be paid!
